Simone Manuel Becomes The First African-American Win Gold In Individual Swimming.

Simone Manuel became the first African-American to win a gold medal in a Individual swimming event. She finished with a tie to 16-year-old Candian swimmer Penny Oleksiak, with a record time of 50.70 on Thursday night.

Stay tuned as Rio 2016 concludes next week. There should be more history being made for African-Americans from all sports.
