State Senator James Sanders Jr. (D-Rochdale Village, Far Rockaway) will be hosting an Educational Conference & Career Fair on May 6, 2017 at M.S. 53Q Brian Piccolo, from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
The Conference and Fair will address student and parental concerns regarding College Grants, Excelsior Scholarships, and FAFSA applications. It will also offer STEM workshops for parents and students, and include a free tie and prom dress giveaway.
It is being conducted in Partnership with Sports & Arts in Schools Foundation, The Rockaway Development & Revitalization Corporation, Zion Youth and Family Community Center of Elmont, Simple College Solutions, 100 Suits for 100 Men, and Make My Mother Proud, and Queens Library.
I am in Year 12 and now not sure of my choices .I originally wanted to be a nurse but my grades are lower so now not sure what to do .Any advice pls

Community College for a year. Go full-time and aim for a 3.0 and your dreams are back. Well, they are not gone either. There are also certification programs at colleges and trades that you can do to become a nurse.
